Terms of Service

VAK ("VAK", "we", "us" or "our") provides the VAK mobile and web application. By creating an account, or by accessing or using VAK, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use VAK.

VAK is an AI-powered tool. You paste a message you have received, choose a tone, humour level and language (such as English or Hinglish), and VAK generates three suggested replies for you to consider. It is designed for everyday and dating conversations.

VAK provides suggestions only. The replies are generated by an AI model and are offered as a starting point. You decide what, if anything, to send.

You are solely responsible for any message you choose to send, share or act upon, including messages based on VAK’s suggestions. AI-generated text can be inaccurate, inappropriate for the situation, or misjudge context.

VAK does not provide legal, medical, financial, relationship or other professional advice, and its suggestions should not be relied on as such. Review and edit every suggestion before using it.

You must be at least 18 years old to use VAK. By using VAK you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate. VAK is not intended for children.

VAK uses Google Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure and for all activity that occurs under your VAK account. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Every user receives 5 free AI generations per day. This daily allowance resets each day at your local midnight. We may adjust the size of the free allowance over time.

If you need more generations, you can buy a credit pack: a one-time purchase of ₹11 (INR) that instantly adds 5 reply credits to your account, delivered automatically via a payment webhook and usable immediately in the app. Credits are digital goods delivered instantly and are consumed as you generate replies.

An "Unlimited" subscription plan is planned but not yet on sale. If and when it launches, its price, billing cycle and cancellation terms will be shown at the point of purchase and governed by these terms and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Purchases are processed by our payment provider, Dodo Payments. When you make a purchase you may also be subject to Dodo Payments’ own terms. All prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹ / INR) and may be exclusive of applicable taxes. Delivery of credits is fully automated, instant and digital — nothing is physically shipped.

Refunds and cancellations are handled as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

When using VAK, you agree not to:

• Use VAK for any unlawful purpose or to generate content that is harassing, hateful, threatening, defamatory or sexually exploitative of any person;
• Use VAK to deceive, impersonate, manipulate, harm or violate the privacy of another person;
• Paste content involving minors, or any content you do not have the right to share;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or circumvent usage limits, rate limiting or security measures of the service;
• Resell, redistribute or commercially exploit VAK or its output without our permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

VAK, including its software, design and branding, belongs to us and is protected by law. You retain rights to the text you paste in, and you are free to use the replies VAK suggests to you. We may use anonymised, aggregated data to operate and improve the service as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features of VAK at any time, and the service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance or factors outside our control.

VAK is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that AI-generated suggestions will be accurate, appropriate or fit for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VAK and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from messages you send or actions you take based on VAK’s suggestions. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You may stop using VAK at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or use VAK in a way that could harm other users, us or third parties.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes may be communicated in the app. Continuing to use VAK after an update means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of India.
